Mount Pearl Intermediate: Shaving live on the web

This is a year of many firsts for the Shave for the Brave. Today, Mount Pearl Intermediate (Mount Pearl, Newfoundland) and Glenmore Christian Academy (Calgary, Alberta) will be shaving together via Skype. They’re hoping to raise $20,000, no small feat- and that money would be huge help to making sure one of our Retreats is a huge success.

Even more exciting is that Mount Pearl Intermediate will be broadcasting their Shave for the Brave live on the web. The action will be getting started 1pm Newfoundland time, (GMT -3.30).

The Cause

  Since life is different when you’re a young adult, it makes sense that cancer is too.

Young Adult Cancer Canada aims to help every Canadian young adult dealing with cancer by offering programs to inspire, inform, support, and connect with other survivors.
