Memorial University of Newfoundland Shaves for the Brave

Twenty three brave students from Memorial University Shaved for the Brave yesterday, raising over $3,000 to help young adults with cancer in canada. Special thanks to Head Hunters Kristina Roche and Chelsea Squires who organized the event in the third floor of the busy University Centre.

The Cause

  Since life is different when you’re a young adult, it makes sense that cancer is too.

Young Adult Cancer Canada aims to help every Canadian young adult dealing with cancer by offering programs to inspire, inform, support, and connect with other survivors.

All funds raised during the Shave for the Brave help us offer our programs at no cost to the young adult cancer patients and survivors who truly need them.
