HB Insurance Shaves for the Brave

Thank you to HB Group Insurance Management Ltd. for holding their first ever Office Shave! Three brave souls went under the clippers on Feb. 26 and shaved their heads to help support young adults with cancer.  Love the Canadian pride too!

Approximately $300 was raised and this money goes directly to young adults so that they can attend our retreats, conferences, and other supportive programs for free.

Special mention to Linda Eaton, the Head Hunter (shave organizer) for this event! Well done!

The Cause

  Since life is different when you’re a young adult, it makes sense that cancer is too.

Young Adult Cancer Canada aims to help every Canadian young adult dealing with cancer by offering programs to inspire, inform, support, and connect with other survivors.

All funds raised during the Shave for the Brave help us offer our programs at no cost to the young adult cancer patients and survivors who truly need them.
