A Spirited Shave!

Holy Spirit High School has definitely GOT spirit! They held their Shave yesterday with an amazing 33 shavers raising approximately $5,000! Big thank to teacher Carina Jardine, Head Hunter, who made it happen. You guys were a pleasure to work with and attending your event was a blast! Congratulations!
Special thanks to student Andrew, who raised more than $1,100 in pledges to support young adults with cancer. We also thought it was pretty awesome that one other student decided to part with his beautiful blonde bangs (along with the rest of his hair) to help the cause.
But remember, we are shaving FOR the brave – the brave young adults dealing with cancer. Your action of shaving brings you one step closer to part of their experience, and we really appreciate your sacrifice of time, and hair!
Renee Bennett, cancer survivor and Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC) board member, had a chance to address the crowd at the school, talking a bit about what YACC does and where the money from the Shave for the Brave goes. Check it out!
