The Shave for the Brave is growing like mad and this past Tuesday morning was another exciting first!

Two-time Shave for the Brave participant and last year's top fund-raising school, Mount Pearl Intermediate in Newfoundland, connected via Skype (internet video call) with Glenmore Christian Academy in Calgary to issue the Shave for the Brave's first ever Skype Challenge.  GCA accepted, and students and teachers from both schools will work together to reach a goal of 150 shaved heads and $20,000 raised for young adults with cancer.

Mount Pearl Intermediate and Glenmore Christian Academy will be holding their Shaves simultaneously on Friday, March 5, also via Skype!  It's going to be an awesome event - shaving, cheering, music, special presentations, the whole works.

We plan to have the whole thing streaming live online as well as recorded. Keep your eyes peeled for the details, and go support your shaver buddies at both schools to help them reach their combined goals!

It’s hard to have a bad hair day when you don’t have any hair! Shave for the Brave and be a lot happier.
