Lisa Voisey decided she wanted to Shave for the Brave a week before the 2010 Shave but held off in an effort to raise more money for her endeavor.
"This was my first time shaving and the experience was nothing I have ever felt before. It was every feeling at once...overwhelming! I am wearing my stubble proudly with a big smile and feeling great to help the cause," she said a few days after the March 12 Shave at the Avalon Mall.
Lisa Shaved with her father, Kevin Voisey, and her boyfriend, James Tucker. The group raised over $2,000!
Will she be back for a touch up another time? She said, "I most certainly would do this again!"
