Hazelwood Elementary’s first Shave was a huge success

Principle Kirk Smith at Hazelwood Elementary signed his school up for the Shave for the Brave and wasn't really sure what to expect. What he got on March 4, 2011 was over 50 Shavers and $12,750!

Kindergartener Isaac Yanchus was the school's top fundraiser with over $1,600 and counting. His dad, and co-Shaver, David, said, "I did the bare minimum for myself as we focused on my son's fundraising...We had some fun the night before with a crazy Einstein hairdo."

Thank you to Mr. Smith and everyone at Hazelwood Elementary. Let's see if next year will be even balder!
