TD supports the Shave with a bakesale

TD has really stepped up when it comes to supporting Young Adult Cancer Canada and the Shave for the Brave. They hold an annual golf tournament; Carson Chafe, a TD employee, held a Solo Shave in a branch last year; and they have a challenge this year amongst their branches in St. John's.

As an additional activity, they held a Shave for the Brave bakesale at their Water Street branch in St. John's on February 11. Branch employees made delicious cupcakes, cookies, and squares (we know because we bought some!) and raised $204!

The Cause

  Since life is different when you’re a young adult, it makes sense that cancer is too.

Young Adult Cancer Canada aims to help every Canadian young adult dealing with cancer by offering programs to inspire, inform, support, and connect with other survivors.

All funds raised during the Shave for the Brave help us offer our programs at no cost to the young adult cancer patients and survivors who truly need them.
