NL Teen Lives Through Cancer and Gives Back

Level III student at Mount Pearl Senior High (MPSH), Angela Butler, has battled Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and lives to share her experience.  She is using her positive attitude and skills as a musician to give back and help others in various cancer-related and other projects. 

Angela was involved in MPSH’s Shave for the Brave this year. We came across this article in The Telegram about her story and wanted to share it.  You can also follow Angela’s story on Flickr where she documented her entire journey.

The Cause

  Since life is different when you’re a young adult, it makes sense that cancer is too.

Young Adult Cancer Canada aims to help every Canadian young adult dealing with cancer by offering programs to inspire, inform, support, and connect with other survivors.
