Holy Cross Elementary Shaves for the Brave

Congratulations to Head Hunter Lorna Walters and the 7 young students who participated at Holy Cross Elementary’s Shave for the Brave today! 

The team raised more than $400 to help support young adults with cancer and all of us at YACC really appreciate your efforts and sacrifice of hair.

There will be two more shavers who were unable to attend today, making the head count a total of 9 students. Thank you all!

 
It’s hard to have a bad hair day when you don’t have any hair! Shave for the Brave and be a lot happier.

The Cause

  Since life is different when you’re a young adult, it makes sense that cancer is too.

Young Adult Cancer Canada aims to help every Canadian young adult dealing with cancer by offering programs to inspire, inform, support, and connect with other survivors.

All funds raised during the Shave for the Brave help us offer our programs at no cost to the young adult cancer patients and survivors who truly need them.
