Frank Roberts Junior High Shaves for the Brave

Way to go Head Hunter Craig Fowler and all involved in the Frank Roberts Shave for the Brave!

Just today, the junior high school held their Shave event, with a total of 29 students and teachers going bald for the cause.  The $5000 they raised will send 5 young adults dealing with cancer to a life-changing retreat weekend this year, and we are truly appreciative of your support!

Special thanks to past Frank Roberts shaver (and 2010 Avalon Mall shaver) Brandon Wells, who spoke to the students about what they were doing, and who’s sister went “all the way” today!  You guys are amazing!

The Cause

  Since life is different when you’re a young adult, it makes sense that cancer is too.

Young Adult Cancer Canada aims to help every Canadian young adult dealing with cancer by offering programs to inspire, inform, support, and connect with other survivors.

All funds raised during the Shave for the Brave help us offer our programs at no cost to the young adult cancer patients and survivors who truly need them.
