Upper Gullies Elementary Shaves for the Brave

Thank you, Upper Gullies, for your enormous support!

Yesterday, 30 young students went before their school body and shaved for the brave young adults dealing with cancer in Canada.  With more than $3000 handed in to date, and much more to come, their Shave event was a great success. 

Thank you to co-Head Hunters Bev Pike (parent) and Tina White (teacher) for organizing this Shave. And special mention to the two super girls who went “all the way” rather than just donating 10 inches!

The Cause

  Since life is different when you’re a young adult, it makes sense that cancer is too.

Young Adult Cancer Canada aims to help every Canadian young adult dealing with cancer by offering programs to inspire, inform, support, and connect with other survivors.

All funds raised during the Shave for the Brave help us offer our programs at no cost to the young adult cancer patients and survivors who truly need them.
