Avalon Mall Shave for the Brave - Thank You St. John’s!

WOW! We've been fortunate enough to say this every year since the Shave for the Brave started, but THIS year has DEFINITELY been the biggest and bravest yet… by far!
The energy in the Avalon Mall on Saturday, March 6th was AMAZING. We were even off and shaving early because so many were anxiously awaiting their turn to lose their lovely locks. On one day alone, we shaved a record 351 heads and raised a record $101,000+ to support young adults with cancer. Congratulations to all involved!
Shavers of note included Minister Dave Denine (volunteer and non-profit) and Jessica Hill, CEO of the Canadian Partnership against Cancer. One of YACC's board members, Brian Vallis, also went under the clippers!
We'd like to say a special thanks to ALL of our shavers, donors, volunteers, and sponsors for helping us to make the 2010 Shave a huge success.
