The 2010 Shave for the Brave poster, designed by Kim Sparkes.

The lineup this year for registration really was unprecedented: it moved pretty quick though!

We had more stations to register than ever before - good thing too!

The first shaver of the day at the St. John’s Avalon Mall.

The little guy might just be the youngest shaver on Saturday in St. John’s.

Geoff calls out the numbers for the shavers to enter the barber shop.

Too warm to wear.

Brian Vallis, member of the Young Adult Cancer Canada board: before.

A preview of what’s to come?

No more hair.

Brian raised over $6,000 for Young Adult Cancer Canada- apparently a whole lot of people wanted to see him bald!

Minister Dave Denine shaved this year, who’ll shave next year from cabinet?

Trying on the toque.

Shaved!

Jessica Hill, CEO of the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer.

Jessica Hill flew in for the day to shave. Hopefully we’ll have shaves coast to coast soon enough!

Geoff & Jessica sporting their yellow toques.

The folks from 99.1 Hits FM stopped by to check out the event that they’ve been promoting for the past month- many many thanks again to these guys- without them it wouldn’t be the success that it is.

Braiding hair is necessary for a donation, and it makes shaving hair this long much more comfortable!

The last two shavers of the day- in St. John’s.

While this photo doesn’t make it look like a whole lot of hair donated- I can promise you that it was extremely heavy: thanks to all the shavers who made Saturday our biggest success yet.
We’ll be back again next year!
